In America, individuals and families were thrust into a continuous foray of anxiety and dread related to race in America, a worldwide sickness in the form of CoVID-19, and political divisiveness. Individuals and families were not immune from the constant spread of interpersonal conflicts, making decisions between personal autonomy, health, employment, and education, and whether this country could withstand the political fighting spreading like a cancer in the American culture.
Angst and Hope is Phillip Fletcher’s commentary on the state of America during the period of 2020-2021. A two year period of nationwide anxiety due to racial; protests, physical and economic suffering because of sickness, and political division, casted a shadow over the nation.
