Reasonable People. Real Differences. One Table.America does not have a disagreement problem. Disagreement is a natural part of a free society.
Our challenge is learning how to disagree without dehumanizing one another. The Civil Discourse Project is an initiative dedicated to creating spaces where people with different political, social, and cultural perspectives can engage difficult conversations while remaining grounded in human dignity. I believe that reasonable people, grounded in dignity, can engage very difficult conversations. |
The WorkThe Civil Discourse Project began as a podcast exploring the challenges of conversation in an increasingly divided America. It has since grown into live forums, community roundtables, and the Civil Discourse Coffeehouse Series, bringing these conversations directly into communities across Arkansas.
